GÜP Industries (pronounced “goop”) is an all-in-one sealant and inflator, pitched as an ‘emergency parachute’ for when a flat could finish your ride at the worst possible moment. Ideal for racers or as a viable replacement to carrying an emergency inner tube.
The one-use can is compatible with Presta & Schraeder valves as well as the incorporated latex-based formula being able to plug 3mm+ punctures in tubeless and tubular tyres; 1-2mm punctures for inner tubed tyres. It can inflate a 29 x 2.4” tyre to 29psi, making it a viable tool to keep a rider from bailing during an Enduro race and can effectively seat a tubeless tyre. The sealant also successfully mixes with most latex-based sealants on the market, meaning GUP is sure to become the competitive cyclists’ secret weapon.
Cyclorise co-owner Thomas Dibley says “We are stoked to be selected by GUP Industries as their representative in the UK market. Not only is GÜP a tremendously functional and reliable product by itself, but it compliments our recently launched range of Lourí Straps which has an emphasis on packless riding. GÜP is the perfect accessory to the growing ‘packless’ trend and looks incredible amongst IBD point of sale”
Hailing from San Diego, CA, GÜP owner Tomas Petricko said “We’re super excited to work with Thomas and his amazing crew and to have them introduce GÜP to the UK marketplace. Their approach to brand development and love of all things bike related made it an easy decision to name them as our distributing partner. We look forward to watching Cyclorise’s continued success with introduction of new brands and to have them add GÜP into their current portfolio of must-have items.”
GÜP Industries is due to arrive with Cyclorise Ltd in the UK at the end of March. Contact email@example.com for competitive trade-pricing and media samples.

SMOOVE is the best dry chain lube on the planet. It offers long-mileage protection like a thick wet lubricant while remaining clean to the touch and offering crisp, impeccable shifting.
Though, to really get the most of SMOOVE it's best to apply it correctly, especially the first time you apply it. Applying over old chain lube or to a damp chain won't allow SMOOVE to work as it should. Now, while you can 'top up' occasionally if you wish, it's important to ensure the first application is done to totally stripped back chain that is completely dry.
Degrease and dry: Use a strong degreaser, like a liquid citrus degreaser. Then ensure the chain is totally dry. Best to leave the bike in a mild - warm environment.
Applying to a wet chain won't allow SMOOVE to properly penetrate the pins and links while applying to a chain with some moisture residue can lead to a chain that sets overly sticky. SMOOVE lays a very hard base layer to protect your drivetrain from wear, so this prep is important.
Here are a few steps to application and a video if you fancy watching me apply SMOOVE to my bike.
Step 1 > Apply SMOOVE to a clean dry chain.
Step 2 > Apply on the inside of the chain while turning the pedals to ensure that the lube gets worked into the chain. You'll know you've applied enough when lube is 'webbing' from pin to pin and squeezes out from behind the plates when you twist the chain slightly by hand. Once you reach this point, keep pedalling backwards for another 10-15 times to ensure it's all worked in as well as possible.
Step 3 > Let the lube dry for at least an hour.
Step 4 > Best results are achieved if lube is applied the night before.
Step 5 > Do not wipe chain after application.
Step 6 > Too much lube will cause residue to accumulate around the derailleur pulley wheels and cassette.
